A restaurant in London, in Edgware road, which is the main focal point for Arabic food and activity. Recently it was completely renovated. Everything was stripped down, including electricity, boilers, sewers etc, and now it has new electricity, new boiler, new air conditioners, a powerful extractor that meets the local council's requirements, new Shawarma equipment, freezer
and fridge counters, charcoal BBQ, two new toilet rooms, new façade, raft over the shop, shisha preparation room, kitchen, new gas connections etc. On top of that, all the walls have been covered with ceramic stone tiles to the roof for absolute hygiene and durability. We spent over GBP120,000 (Sterling) for this renovation. The lease is for 11 years more, and the
cost is about 75,000 sterling per year There is council tax which is about GBP2,000 per month, so the yearly cost is GBP100,000.
The price is GBP300,000.
Over the years a clientele was built of princes and high end people from Qatar, Saudi, etc, but was mostly concentrated on Shisha because it is profitable if done the proper way. Food is served, including Shawarma, charcoal barbeque chicken, etc . But I believe, in the position that it is in, one could do much more with fast food, not just Arabic either, as nearby there are some offices.
