Job Description	Job description • Report to the Australia Engineering Manager • Provide system engineering support to the client in Australia and Asia Pacific. • Develop and maintain system engineering department engineering tools and procedures • Develop and maintain excellent relationship with the clients customers and develop mutual understanding for effective subsea solutions • Plan and Manage the local System Engineering team in Australia. • Provide leadership in the resolution of field issues, including corrective actions • Manage and monitor all aspects of the group's performance against agreed targets, ensuring the achievement of appropriate standards. • Provide effective leadership to the group, leading by example, acting with integrity and instilling a clear sense of purpose, priority and direction. • Develop team spirit/motivation/collaboration/cooperation. • Ensure best practice on critical success factors to the groups performance and output results. • Review the developmental needs of staff and draw up action plans to meet them. Job requirements • Education: MSc in a physical science or a relevant engineering discipline. • Interest in development of systems and tools for continuous improvement of engineering and project execution. • Circa 8 years of experience with subsea system engineering, with at least 2 of these in a management capacity • 10 years of technical project management experience • Excellent oral and written communications skills in English • Ability to build, lead and motivate a strong Engineering team • Travel: 10 to 20% If you are interested, please apply ASAP.
