 Job Description MAIN JOB TASKS AND REDPONSIBILITIES

Read the project spec¡¯s and give comments with an engineering query. Interface with proposals engineer regarding bid qualifications, work plan, clarifications and budgets.

Prepare the engineering planning for the project (procedures/analysis) together with the Engineering Manager.

Establish the manpower requirements to perform the onshore / offshore scope of work together with the leading engineer or Engineering Manager (or delegate);

Produce the analysis/procedures and raise the related Material Take Offs (MTO¡¯s). If more resources are required, guide the engineers preparing the procedures and analysis. Perform the discipline check of the procedures and analysis.

Inform the lead engineer or Engineering Manager (or delegate) about the progress of the work. Any additional work to be discussed/agreed with the lead engineer or engineering Manager (or delegate).

During the execution phase of the project, the installation engineer should assist offshore. The installation engineer is also responsible for the handover.

Write the engineering input for the Project Close Out report. Give feedback to the lead engineer.

Focus all activities in order to meet the overall corporate objectives and departmental tasks.

Familiarize and comply with the WOS QHSE management system.

Give engineering support to all WOS Departments on installation engineering and associated projects.

QUALIFICATIONS

HTS or University in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

Awareness and understanding of engineering design and calculations.

Background in Offshore technology would be an advantage.

Good interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player.

Ability to take responsibility for actions and justify decisions.

Microsoft Office Skills.
